These Terms govern your use of Pigby Money Tracker (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1) Eligibility

You must be at least the minimum age required in your jurisdiction to use the Service.

2) Accounts

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• All activity under your account
• Providing accurate information where required

We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms.

3) The Service (What Pigby Does)

Pigby helps you track finances by allowing you to:

• Record transactions (income/expense)
• Set budgets and track performance
• View analytics and reports
• Use Smart Entry features (receipt/screenshot/voice) to extract transaction data
• Enable location reminders for transaction logging prompts

Pigby is a personal finance tracking tool, not a financial institution.

4) Not Financial Advice

Pigby provides tools and summaries for convenience. We do not provide financial, legal, or tax advice. You are responsible for your financial decisions and for verifying any insights or recommendations.

5) Smart Entry (Receipt/Screenshot/Voice) Disclaimer

Smart Entry uses automated processing and may produce errors. You are responsible for:

• Reviewing extracted data before saving
• Confirming amounts, categories, and dates are correct

6) Location Reminders

If you enable location reminders:

• The Service may detect frequent places and trigger reminders
• Accuracy depends on device sensors, OS restrictions, and permissions
• Notifications/reminders are not guaranteed to trigger at all times

You can disable this feature at any time in Settings or via device permissions.

7) Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service unlawfully
• Reverse engineer or attempt to bypass security
• Interfere with the Service or infrastructure
• Upload malicious content

8) Data & Content You Provide

You retain ownership of data you enter. You grant us permission to:

• Store and process it to provide the Service
• Transmit selected content to processors you invoke (e.g., Smart Entry providers)

9) Third-Party Services

The Service may depend on third-party providers (e.g., Supabase, notification services, OCR/AI processing). Their services may have their own terms and availability.

10) Availability & Changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time. We aim to minimize disruption but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

11) Fees (If Applicable)

If paid features are introduced, pricing and billing terms will be presented in-app before purchase.

12) Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may terminate or suspend access if:

• You violate these Terms
• Required by law
• Needed to protect users or the Service

13) Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose.

14) Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid (if any) for the Service during the prior 12 months, or $0 if the Service is free

15) Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of your applicable jurisdiction, without regard to conflict of laws principles.

16) Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms. The Last updated date reflects the latest version.
